Another post in the 'I shouldn't be allowed into record shops when I've got money on me' saga
Because I totally shouldn't. Today I went downtown just to buy tea, toothpaste and see what I could possibly buy for Christmas presents. And then there was that huge record shop. And I thought, hey, let's just see what they've got.
And I somehow ended up buying four CDs *facepalm*.
Admittedly, one of those CDs was a re-issue of a classic Partia (Polish band) album which I've been looking for for quite some time. I've almost given up the hope of ever finding it so I was all grabby hands when I found it today. The other three CDs were actually packed together - and therefore much cheaper than normally so I could actually afford them - and were a re-issue of three Dead Or Alive ablums. Yes, I got myself Dead Or Alive, damn you, my childhood memories. I can sort of very fuzzily remember seeing Pete Burns on TV back in the early 80's singing "You Spin Me Round" and wearing a kimono. I thought then the song was pretty cool - apparently, back when I was in kindergarten, my musical tastes were of a more dance-y nature.
I could also blame today's shopping spree on Morrissey's returned influence over my musical choices. Decisions, decisions.
Meanwhile, have some good old Dead Or Alive and Pete Burns who still looked human (I saw on another YT vid how he looks today and, man, nightmares guaranteed):
